CHESS TABLE
This coffee table with an inset chess board, is crafted from black cherry wood sourced near Buffalo, NY. The chess board uses dark cherry for dark squares and maple for lighter ones. Its hand-carved ornamentation is inspired by the work of architect Louis Sullivan and entire piece is varnished with tung oil.
